Astrea is delighted to announce the arrival of its new lawyers to Antwerp and Brussels offices, consolidating the Real Estate, Intellectual Property, EU and Competition, Commercial and Corporate law teams.

Benoit Forêt specializes in environmental law, real estate law, public procurement and general administrative law. He has built up extensive experience in conducting various administrative and civil proceedings, as well as providing advice in these areas. He is also involved in real estate transactions, both in purely private and in public-private relations. Benoit is a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar.

Merel Huybrechts specializes in construction law, property law and renting. Merel assists clients by providing advice and support in the drafting of contracts and in legal proceedings. Merel is a member of the Antwerp Bar.

Matthias Helsen is a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar since 2013 and specializes real estate law, construction law, liabilities, buy-sell, rent and other real estate agreements, rights in rem and apartment law. Given his interest in real estate, he also completed the master's degree program in notarial law, which allowed him to gain experience in notarial practice.

Victoire Willemot specializes in real estate law, construction law and environmental law. She obtained her Master of Laws in 2020 where she specialized in public law, after obtaining her Bachelor at the University of Namur. Victoire is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.

Nicolas Michiels is a member of the Brussels Bar. He advises companies and financial institutions on financial regulation, project finance, asset-based finance and corporate finance. Nicolas is also active at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel as a researcher in financial law.

Toon Vangrunderbeek is part of Astrea’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team. He is fascinated by both the negotiation process in a transaction, and litigation when a lasting dispute arises between parties. Toon is a member of the Antwerp bar.

Pauline Geentjens practices intellectual property law, information technology, competition law and commercial law as an attorney at Astrea. She advises clients on intellectual property matters, including strategic advice, litigation and dispute resolution, agreement drafting, IP audits and portfolio management. She acts for clients in the fashion, gaming, media, technology, retail and consumer goods sectors.

Yuki Choy specializes in commercial and economic law. She obtained her Master in Law with distinction at the University of Antwerp in 2020. In addition, Yuki has a Master in Intellectual Property and ICT law. Yuki is a lawyer at the Bar of Antwerp.
