Astrea assisted the shareholders of Verachtert nv and its Tunisian group companies with the sale of their shares, in cooperation with corporate finance specialists, SDM-Valorum Corporate Finance Group. The transaction consists of a smart deal, whereby the sellers reinvested together with the new management and private equity. Verachtert NV is a wholesale business for needlework, embroidery yarns and knitting wool with over 300 employees spread between business units located in Belgium and Tunisia. The Astrea team was composed of Micha Van den Abeele, partner, and Melani Simonian, associate.
