About my Practice

Cato is working as a lawyer within Astrea’s Transport & Logistics team, where she specialises in commercial law, seizure and enforcement law as well as transport law in relation to the various modes of transport. Her interest in maritime law in particular was sparked during an exchange at Lund University in Sweden. Cato graduated from the University of Antwerp in 2019 and in 2021, with a Dean’s Award for best student, also obtained a Master’s degree in Maritime and Logistics Management from the same university. Before starting her bar internship, Cato gained experience as a corporate lawyer within the Belgian branch of a large international transport and logistics company.
